A technical glitch sent DFS Pool administrators into a frenzy over the weekend when it was learned several participants had their selections lost in cyber space. Ten participants properly filed picks sometime Tuesday, but they never passed from Turbo Tourney to the DFS pool. When this situation was realized, staff technicians worked around the clock to resolve the issue. All picks were retrieved by Monday evening. Standings, the player lists and player picks can be accessed to the right. All participants are responsible for reviewing their picks.
This year's pool attracted 198 participants. That's down slightly from last year, but still a staggering number nonetheless. Charles Kabbash, the former All-World nose guard of Clifton High gridiron fame (circa 1955) , has proven up to the task on the hardwood as well. Close behind are Fred Rizzo and Lee Mondelli. Tied for third are Grant Ferrauilo, Jim Ferrauilo, Papa Louie March, and Jake Byrne. Embarrassing themselves in last are John Mahoney, the pool commissioner's father in law, and Ryan Finkel.
