Commissioner's Wife, Sister, Niece & Cousin In The Running For Pool Glory!

SEE POST BELOW FOR CURRENT STANDINGS AND POTENTIAL POOL WINNERS SCENARIOS. NEWSLETTER:

This can't be good for business! The pool commissioner's wife, Meghan Scancarella, stands to win the DFS Pool Championship if Kentucky beats
Connecticut Saturday. This is the first time in their 13 years of marital bliss that the commissioner allowed his wife to make her predictions all by herself. The winning prize is 3093 points. The commissioner has told his wife that the pot is actually 1000 points. The commissioner will need all 198 participants to swear to that "truth." If Kentucky wins it all, the pool commissioner's sister and niece, Kylie and Dana Bryan, take home 866 points. This would be 3-year old Kylie's second money winning performance.

If UConn wins it all, Jonathan and Amy Chang wins first prize. Jonathan won it all in 1994, but the pot back then paled in comparison - a paltry $270. If VCU wins it all, perennial cellar-dwellar James Kabbash wins first prize.

Other potential money winners include Charles Kabbash, Jim Ferrauilo, Charles Zervas, Stephen Kent, Ryann McDonough, and Bob Patterson.

Meghan, meanwhile, is crediting her possible ascendancy to her husband's thoughtful advice. Shrewd predictions, evidently, do not run in her blood. For proof, look no further than last place, where her dear ole dad, John Mahoney resides. Papa Mahoney shares last place honors this year with woeful Ryan Finkel.
