Sarah Looney Wins!

Congratuations to me on Villanova winning the National Championship for the second time in three years and for the 3rd time ever. Was there ever a doubt? Perhaps yes, as the Commissioner did not even pick Villanova to win. He finished 154th place.

Congratulations also to Sarah Looney (2353), the 2018 DFS NCAA Tournament Champion.

The Looney Empire has now won multiple DFS titles and finished in the winners circle numerous times, even though Sarah's father, Sean, knows nothing about sports. Sean is actually leading the way with three $ winning performances, including the 2005 championship.  Sarah's grandmother, Loretta, and Sarah's brother, Griffin, have placed in the winners circle two times apiece.

Ryan Finkel, son of Judge Scancarella's former law clerk, places 2nd (905). Ryan is a former football standout at Johns Hopkins and current Med School student. Charley Volpe, the Commissioner's father's old Villanova roommate and former backcourt partner at Clifton High School, finished 3rd (362). That amount is equal to a 1/2 semester in the 1950s.

Thanks to everyone for participating. 187 strong! I'll see you next year.
