Congratulations to Cousin John Cronin on winning the 2019 DFS NCAA Tournament Pool! Cronin (2444) correctly predicted that Virginia would defeat Texas Tech in the final. He also had 7 of the Elite 8 teams. John has developed into a rabid Wesleyan Football fan over the last two years. "Plenty of rounds on me at the Middlebury game!" he vows! We will have to wait and see about that one.
2nd place finisher Walker Ged (940) correctly had 3 of the 4 Final Four teams picked and correctly had Virginia winning it all. 3rd place finisher John Ferraro (376) now has finished in the winners circle a record five times. He won it all in 1991 and placed in the winners circle in 1992, 1996, 2010 and now 2019.
Ed Phillips, our 2014 winner, placed fourth, narrowly shy of the winners circle. Longtime cellar dweller Mark McCarthy somehow managed to place 5th. Judy Mondelli woefully placed in last (194th).
