Kyle Sheridan Wins! Nancy Updike Takes 2nd; Berman and Reuter Split 3rd

Kyle Sheridan is this year's DFS Champion. The son of Mark Sheridan, a high school chum of the commissioner, amasses 3062. Mark Sheridan is the all time shot block leader in Neumann Prep basketball history. Son Kyle appears to have simliar basketball acumen.

Nancy Updike, the commissioner's aunt, takes home 833 for second. Updike is part of the all-powerful Updike/Ferraro pool dynasty. She joins her husband Dennis Updike and sons David, John, and Nick Ferraro as past pool money winners.

Rookies Mark Berman and Kate Reuter upstaged numerous pool veterans to tie for third and claim 441 apiece. Pool history has been updated with to reflect the impressive accomplishments of these four individuals.

Four Wayne-iacs Lead The Pool

Four Wayne-iancs - Roy Stine, Dan Moran, Danny Kees, and Anthony D'Apolito - lead the pool after two rounds. Doris Formosa wallows in last place. The pool participant count rose by one, to 196, when Wild Bill McDonough's picks arrived via pony-express. He's remains the only participant to still mail in his picks.

Welcome To The 22nd Annual DFS NCAA Tournament Pool

Congratulations! You are cordially invited to participate in the 22nd running of the DFS NCAA Tournament Pool! I’m thrilled to say that our pool continues to be strong, robust and very competitive. Last year, in fact, the pool attracted 197 participants. Winner Jonathan and Amy Chang walked away with a staggering $3093. James Kabbash placed in second, taking home $866. Ryann McDonough finished 3rd, winning $544. Charles Kabbash and Jim Ferrauilo tied for 4th, taking home a lump sum of $184 apiece.
