Jonathan and Amy Chang are the 2011 DFS Champs. Jonathan, who also won it all in 1994, is the first two-time DFS Champ. His 1994 purse (270 points), though, pales in comparison to the 2011 purse (3093 points). "I'm trying to keep Amy in the dark about the proceeds," he explained.
"I'm telling her that the purse is 270 points again. I ask that the other 197 participants corroborate my story."
Hard luck James Kabbash would have won it all in the event of the Butler championship. Instead, he had to settle for second place (866 points). Ryann McDonough finished 3rd (544). He joins daddy Doug McDonough (2nd Place in 2005) as a pool winners circle member. Ryan was said to be happiest about blowing out his granddad, Wild Bill McDonough, who turned in another dreadful performance (99th place).
Charles Kabbash and Jim Ferrauilo tied for fourth, taking home 185 points apiece. Uncle Charlie believes that he and son James will pool the family's combined winnings and split the proceeds evenly. James had no comment.
Ferrauilo is a Flag Football dad like the commissioner. He has vowed to buy all Packanack Flag dads a Schaffer Beer at the next "Coaches Meeting."
